安培拉星人死后，黑暗铠甲拥有属于自己的意识，在黑暗火焰（安培拉星人的宇宙船）的空间中出现。黑暗铠甲吞噬了希卡利并夺走了希卡利的意识，使希卡利变成了黑暗铠甲的傀儡，让地球再次出现了许多怪兽。
后来，梦比优斯按希卡利之前教给他的办法，在GUYS队员的帮助下，让黑暗铠甲裂开了一条缝隙，希卡利借此得以脱身。脱身后希卡利和梦比优斯直接击碎了黑暗铠甲，没想到，破碎的黑暗铠甲居然再度复活了。
