菖蒲（成海璃子 饰）是一个名不见经传的小模特，虽然也有工作的机会，但看到和自己一起出道的同学耳川桃如今高涨的人气，菖蒲的内心里自然很不是滋味，在脑海里，菖蒲将耳川桃当成自己的假想敌，甚至到了会出现幻觉的地步。一天，菖蒲在超市里投了一本娱乐杂志，不巧被捉住了，为了赎罪，菖蒲不得不来到警署，成为了那里的一日署长。

The film was closely based on the historical record, and all of the major incidents portrayed were drawn from contemporary accounts by those who took part. Filming took place on the Falkland Islands and at Ealing Studios. Urban is a fluent Spanish-speaker, and plays an uncredited role as the Argentine radio operator.。
