幻想乡，一个于世界之外独立存在的美好国度，在那里，妖怪，人类，神灵，神兽共同生活在同一片天地下，彼此之间关系和睦又友好。在这里，没有悲伤，没有痛苦，没有战争，没有死亡，有的只是整日整日的闲散生活，和充斥在每一寸空气中的快乐。
夏天即将到来，巫女博丽灵梦（中原麻衣 配音）所在的神社即将举行一年一度的夏日祭典，幻想乡的所有居民们都在期待着这一天的到来。就在这个节骨眼上，一连串怪事的发生让幻想乡陷入了危机之中。神社门口的钱柜遭窃，帕秋丽（高桥美佳子 配音）的藏书不知所踪，红魔馆的茶点消失不见，这几起事件的背后，究竟隐藏了怎样的真相？。The plot revolves around Evelyn Thomas, who celebrates her twenty-first birthday in Las Vegas.
