2018年9月宣布新作动画制作决定，故事接续2015年版的OVA《一骑当千 Extravaganza Epoch》，标题为《一骑当千 Western Wolves》，2019年1月3日开始每月在AT-X放送，BD/DVD于2019年2月27日发售。。Set against the world of a major drug cartel bust, the series follows two low-level cops who have spent far too much time in a car together| two criminals who are largely kept in the dark| two dispatch workers who haven't really clicked| and two Mexican tunnelers who are in way too small a space considering they've only just met.。
