一位收藏家在无意之中获得了原属于布达拉宫的圣物巴布金瓶，布达拉宫派出了喇嘛旺拉（元彪 饰），让他前往香港和收藏家接头，带回圣物。哪知道圣物重出江湖的消息不胫而走，传到了红教领袖罗桑的耳中，邪恶的罗桑企图抢走金瓶，利用金瓶的神奇力量实现野心。
