小黄莺虽然有一副美妙的歌喉，可是因为胆小怕羞，从来都是自个儿唱歌给自个儿听，不敢在他人面前歌唱。而且，她凡事有妈妈陪伴才敢去做。在妈妈的陪同下，她来到迎春会现场和大伙一起玩起“瞎子摸人”的游戏，其它动物被摸到时都大方地跳舞歌唱，唯有她害羞地飞走了。妈妈为了让她变得大胆，去找白头翁爷爷商量，有了好办法。白头翁爷爷说有一位有学问的老师能让小黄莺不再胆小，可是这位有学问的老师在哪里，却要她自己去找到……。Joe Bell is a penny-pinching hermit saving for the day when his real life will begin.
