此剧为描述1995年阪神大地震背景之下研究PTSD的先驱人士题材。自己亦属于受灾者的主角安和隆，在地震之下致力于治疗居民的心理创伤，帮助其回到生活正轨。 拥有爵士乐钢琴演奏级功力的年轻精神科医生安和隆（柄本佑饰），与开朗的妻子终子（尾野真千子饰）相遇后组织家庭。夫妻的第一个孩子出生后不久，即发生了阪神大地震。身为一位精神科医生，此时该做的是什么？安和隆每天不断的思考着。和隆在与受灾者接触的过程中，逐渐发现自己该做的并非治疗，而是帮助受灾者拥有治愈力。其后，安和隆将自己的心得及在受灾区的所见所闻纪录下来并出版成册，获得学艺赏。然而，在39岁的某天，安和隆发现自己罹患了癌症……。。This documentary marks the end of the epic tale of Inspector Morse, the iconic Oxford detective celebrated the world over.
