本电影主要通过描写宋辽连年战争后，佘太君前往18年前的战场陈家谷扫墓，途径七步庄，看到了一对分别在宋辽当兵的兄弟相争，想到了宋辽和兄弟恩怨，来诠释杨家一门的忠骨和不畏生死的精神，并用杨家人之间的互相救助，来凸显亲情。。龙王携四海龙王以水淹陈塘关逼李靖交出哪吒，哪吒自刎肉身消亡，太乙欲建庙助他重生。
燃灯道人赠李靖玲珑宝塔，说哪吒无功受香火会受魔心反噬。李靖不忍让哪吒入歧途决定毁庙引哪吒误会，而李母与太乙偷偷供奉哪吒牌位。龙王在哪吒复生之时突袭，众人都被压在塔下。误会颇深的父子腹背受敌，一边要与对方打斗，一边又要提防龙族和塔内怪兽的袭击，于是决定先放下芥蒂逃出凶险之地。
二人进入宝塔深处，幻境纷至沓来，敌人潜伏其中，随时袭击疲于奔命的父子俩。
两人同行，最终冰释前嫌，共同击败龙王。。Yaşar, a young man, has a hard time after his father's death. His inheritance from his father causes Yaşar to have problems with his stepmother.
