甲斐セツナは、家庭の事情によりひとり暮らしをするため、とある町へ引っ越してきた。しかし引越し早々、町には何故か石の雨が降り、住む予定であったアパートの部屋が大岩によって潰されてしまった。途方に暮れるセツナだったが、そこでマカイのデータを収集していた要広海と遭遇する。セツナは広海から、現実世界とは別にマカイという別世界が存在すること、そこで起きたことが現実世界に影響すること、セツナがマカイの支配を企む大魔王ルシファーと戦う運命にあるデビルチルドレンであることを教えられる。広海に連れられて到着した研究所で、セツナはもう一人のデビルチルドレン・要ミライと彼女のパートナー・ベールと会い、マカイへと向かう。 こうしてセツナとミライの、マカイの平和を守るための戦いが始まる。。It's supposed to be a fresh start: One year after the loss of her husband, Nicole settles with her young adult children Justine and Jason in Purity Falls.
